Finley and Jack at Loyola Beach.

Would it be wrong to record my conversations with Jack and post the transcripts?  Would it be wrong if some of those conversations occurred while he was going potty?  (Or is that just weird?)  I don't know what it is, by we have the funniest conversations while he's...well, you know.

He's recently taken to asking me questions.  Last night he said, "Hey, Daddy."  (He begins all his questions now with the phrase, 'Hey, Daddy.')  Have you ever seen a ghost?  The topic of conversation today was skunks:

J: Hey, Daddy.  You ever see a skunk?
D: Sure
J: At the zoo?
D: No, not at the zoo.
J: Where?
D: Real life
J: Which life?
D: This life.
J:  Whose life?
D: My life.
(beat)
J: I've never seen a skunk in this life.

Welcome to installment one of...Jack: The Potty Sessions.

Jack and Penny float in the big pool in the waterpark at Blue Harbor Resort.  Jack spent much of his time on the floating stingray (and turtle) chanting, "Go, Diego, go!"  He was wary of the big slides, so I went down by myself while he watched.  I have to admit, they were pretty fast.
