He talks, he walks, he's...the Amazing Jack.

On Saturday, May 11th, Jack Rajczyk walked for the first time.

Jack, being motivated by a shiny metal object, stood straight up in the middle of the floor, wobbled slightly, then thrust himself forward, moving three or four feet while completely upright, across our dining room floor.

Our son walked for the fist time and we were both there to see it.

The object that drew him? A soda can held by one of our friends. Which he promptly reached, stuck his finger into, and cut himself.

May 11th, 2008 was not only the day Jack first walked, it was also the day he first bled. (There goes my dream of having a superhero for a son.)
