The other morning I was sitting in the living room watching the news. It was early, no later than 7:30, and the low sun combined with our perpetually mote-ridden apartment made the living room look something akin to a snow globe. Jack waddled barefoot into the room, said, "Hi Dada," and was stopped in his tracks, seemingly stunned by what he saw. His hands moved through the air in small circles, stirring the reflective dust (not unlike the moon) , saying one word softly - "snow."
